Min Yoon-Gi (민윤기) or better known as SUGA (슈가) is a rappper, songwriter and member of the boy group Bangtan Boys (BTS). Suga was born in Buk-gu, Daegu on March 9, 1993 and has one brother, brother.
Prior to his debut alongside Boys (BTS), Suga was a well-known underground rapper in the Daegu area. At that time he was known by the name "Gloss". He joined Big Hit Entertainment in 2010 after becoming the second winner in an open audition hosted by Big Hit Entertainment in 2010.
He debuted with BTS on June 13, 2013 on stage M! Countdown performed the song "No More Dream". The song is the lead single from the debut single BTS titled "2 Cool 4 Skool".
